Reception Intake 

Reception school places are allocated on a full time basis, Monday to Friday. You should contact the London Borough of Sutton directly in order to apply for a place. The application form for a Reception place needs to be completed by 15th January. The September reception places are for children who will reach their fifth birthday in that academic year (September - August).

Nursery Intake (3-4 year olds) 

Nursery places are allocated on a part-time or full-time basis. For those requiring part-time we offer either a morning or afternoon session. In 2024 - 2025 we are also offering a 2.5 day provision. Places are allocated in accordance with ‘The London Borough of Sutton’s Admission Policy’.

All parents may apply for a nursery place for their child at Nonsuch, regardless of where they live. Children are admitted in the September, January or April after their 3rd birthdays. Unfortunately, a place in the nursery does not guarantee a place in the main school. Parents will still need to apply for a Reception place via their council website.  

Applications for Nursery places for 2024/2025 are now open. Applications will be dealt with directly by the school.  Please click here for a nursery application.  We offer a limited number of 30 hour places. The government will pay for an additional 15 hours in Nursery for eligible families. Please click here to see if you are eligible.

Parents selecting the 30 hours option will have priority for morning Nursery places. Lunch is not provided so children need to come to school with a packed lunch. 

If you do not meet the criteria to qualify for the 30 hours government funding we are still able to provide your child with an additional 15 hours on top of the current 15 free hours provided at a cost of £25 per session.

Nursery and Reception parents, who require wrap-around care, can book their children into the Breakfast Club and After-school Club provison. This will need to be booked and paid for via the JAG link. Please see this page of our website for further information.  

In Year Application

Occasionally spaces are available in year groups other than Reception. Please contact the London Borough of Sutton directly in order to apply for a place.
