The School Day

Reception pupils start at 8:40am and finish at 3pm

KS1 pupils start at 8:40am and finish at 3.05pm (32.12 hours)

KS2 pupils start at 8:40am and finish at 3.10pm (32.5 hours)

Drop-off and Pick Up

Nursery and Reception parents drop-off their children at the EYFS gate. For pick-up, parents enter via the EYFS gate and wait by the classroom door. 

KS1 (Y1 and Y2) parents can choose to drop-off their children at the KS1 gate - the wooden gate just inside the car park. If parents are using the Waverley Gate, then their children can walk through to the playground and wait with the school staff.  For pick-up, parents enter via the wooden gate and wait by the classroom door. 

KS2 (Y3-Y6) children walk themselves into the school grounds via either the Chadacre Gate or Waverley Gate - school staff are there to support. For pick-up, parents enter the playground and wait for their child to be dismissed. Y3 and Y4 are currently being dismissed via the side hall exit. Y5 and Y6 are being dismissed from the door near After-School Club. If parents wish for Y5 or Y6 children to walk home then permission must be granted via our online form. 

 

If another parent is due to pick your child up please let the school know. If we have not received this notificiation, we will make contact with parents before allowing a pupil to leave the school.
