Our school caterer, Clara, prepares tasty meals for the children in our new kitchen every day.
The meals meet the School Food Standards and provide a hot balanced meal every day.
The meal includes a choice of two main meals (one of which is suitable for a vegetarian diet) or a jacket potato with filling, a choice of two vegetables, a salad bar, freshly baked bread, a pudding of the day or a choice of fresh fruit, organic yogurt or cheese and biscuits, and drinking water.
All children who choose to have school dinners are supervised by our lunchtime staff who always ensure every child eats their meal before going out to play.
Paying for School Lunches
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to have a free school dinner, known as Universal Infant Free School Meals. We would ask that all parents still register their child for free school meals, if applicable, as the school receives vital funding known as Pupil Premium, which is used to raise the attainment of children.
For children in Years 3 - 6, from Autumn 2018, school dinners cost £2.25 per day (£11.25 per week) and must be booked and paid for via Parent Pay, in advance.
Please contact the School Office if you would like your child to have school dinners, or if your child is changing to packed lunch.
