About the School Council

Our school council is an important part of our school life as it provides our pupil voice and shapes the way we plan for our future at Nonsuch Primary School.

This year we have seen some changes to our Council. We now have four elected members for each class who make up the Council.

We have also divided the Council by year groups to create three branches, each with a different focus.

Community Ambassadors:

Deciding on ideas for fundraising and choosing which charities to support. Thinking of ways to improve the environment, establishing ECO warriors.

Well-being Ambassadors:

Look at health and well-being across the school for pupils, what improvements can be made, School travel plan, traffic control, playtime improvements, healthy schools etc

Learning Ambassadors:

Providing insights which impact on curriculum, effective learning, behaviour for learning, improving the quality and variety of provision.
